Date, venue: 11- 13 November 2021, Moscow Event info: From November 11 to 13, the 27th International Industrial Exhibition Metal-Expo'2021 was held at Expocentre located in the Krasnaya Presnya district in Moscow. The trade fair brought together over 450 leading iron and steel companies. About 3,000 experts worked the stands, and over 17,000 people visited the trade show. Despite the restrictions imposed due to COVID-19, as well as the requirement for visitors to use QR codes, most participants highly praised the professional makeup of visitors, as well the business environment at the trade show. An award ceremony in the nomination “Event of the Year in Russian Metals & Mining” for METPROM that completed the construction of steel plants in Uzbekistan and Belarus was held at the official opening ceremony of Metal-Expo’2021. The award certificate was signed by Denis Manturov, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation. The investment cost of Tashkent Metallurgical Plant and Miory Rolling Mill was over EUR 600 million.
