Construction of a pulverized coal injection system for Blast Furnaces No. 3, 5, 6
A PCI system is designed for pulverized coal injection into blast furnaces at a rate of up to 180 kg/t of hot metal; due to this technology it was possible to reduce the specific consumption of coke down to 300 kg/t of hot metal and fully avoid natural gas.
METPROM specialists developed design documentation, rendered support for the approval process with the state expert review bodies; developed detail design documentation; provided designer supervision services.
